Maha Agri Network (MAN) is the organization who always helps for the development of agriculture students. The development of student is based on the knowledge & personality. MAN always provides help to develop their career. It is the objective of MAN to expose agriculture students through various platforms to present their inner talent to world. Hence under this ideology MAN is providing a platform for agriculture students to develop it by themself. The platform act as a teaching source for agriculture students & it will provide opportunity to interact with agriculture industry & industrial expert.

With the same motive MAN, has launched the annual theme “Scholars to Professionals”, for the year 2012-13. The objective behind introducing this theme is to bring out the inner talent of agriculture student in front of agriculture industry through MAN.

MAN always believes that every agriculture student has pursuing his own quality. Under this theme MAN plan to work on college level to boost that unique quality of the agriculture student through different medium. For this MAN has plan a year program under that we will conduct different events, workshop, seminars, and crash courses. With the help of these types of events agriculture student will get proper exposer to present themself. This event is specifically plan with the different companies, NGO’s, educational institutes & social organizations. The first step for this MAN started a crash course for “Nursery Management”. The objective behind starting this course is to promote nursery as a profit making business for agriculture youth.

SANAP NURSERY, NASHIK

SANAP NURSERY, NASHIK

Last week I visited a nursery in Nashik, Sanap Nursery, as I was on research tour for MAN. I met with Mr. Pravin Sanap there, the young entrepreneur, owner of the nursery & founding father of MahaAgri Youth Association. We had good dialoged on the various aspects of the nursery industry & especially in the area like Nashik.

He was in this business from 2005, after completing the graduation in Horticulture he decided to join his family business. In year 2005 his nursery was very small & with limited client base. He is young, ambitious & wanted to do something in this industry, he started to work on it. With limited sources & traditional way of business he took a huge effort to make it modernize nursery. In the duration of six years he converted his nursery from a traditional nursery to well-equipped one acre “polyhouse” nursery.

In the year 2010 Mr. Sanap was participated in the Agritech Exhibition at China, Horti Expo 2011 at Bangluru (Benglore), every year he participates in the Kisan Expo at Pune. Presently he is growing vegetable, ornamental seedlings nearly about 50lakhs annually. It’s really great achievement & inspires too many agricultural students to go for such growing industry. Today in 2012 his client base reached to thousands. Such a great & inspiring story, which creates great entrepreneurs in Agriculture, which will boost the growth of agriculture student. The Maha Agri Network (MAN) is a organization founded by Maha Agri Youth Association (MAYA) for the welfare & development of Indian Agriculture, with the aim to promote the transmission of knowledge, information and ideas among students,and to improve the mutual understanding between students and corporate professionals.The Maha Agri Network (MAN) through a broad array of programs and services, we organize activities like seminars, working camps, meetings,transmission program, small-scale development projects etc.
